TITI – In Cyclone’s Wake

On the climate change front line, Madagascar has been badly hit by successive cyclones. Titi, a nurse from Niger, joins the medical humanitarian organization Médecins Sans Frontières and reaches inaccessible rural communities to confront the alarmingly rising rates of child malnutrition.

Natasha Blatsiou is a documentary filmmaker with a long-standing career as a journalist. She was the co-director and writer of the short film “The Refuge,” which was awarded at the international POYi competition (2020), and screenwriter of the documentary trilogy Dying for Europe (2015) which won more than 15 international awards (World Press Photo 2017, POYi 2016, IPA 2016 and MIFA 2016, GMFF 2019) and was shown in 120 countries. She is currently developing her first feature film, Unwritten Land.
